Rayagada Autonomous College Celebrates 60th Foundation Day with Grandeur

Rayagada, July 4: Rayagada Autonomous College celebrated its 60th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and academic pride on the college campus. The event was graced by Naveen Chandra Naik, College Governing Body President cum ADM, Rayagada, as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Saraswati Ray, Principal of the College, presided over the function.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest congratulated the institution for its remarkable six-decade journey in imparting quality higher education and encouraged students to pursue excellence through dedication, discipline, and innovation. Dr. Saraswati Ray highlighted the college’s academic achievements and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to holistic development and research.
A major highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of academic toppers from +2, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as vocational and professional courses. The meritorious students were honoured with certificates and mementoes in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.
The Chief Guest also felicitated distinguished faculty members for their dedicated service and significant contributions to academics and research. Those honoured included Lt. Udaya Naik, Ramesh Huika, Subrat Pradhan, Dr. Manasi Mohanty, Dr. Ajaya Raita, Dr. Liza Rani Sathpathy, Dr. Anita Tripathi, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sahoo, Anita Kumari Sahu, Bhabesh Mohanty, Dr. Tubal Kumar Beniya, Monalisa Panigrahi, T.
