Police Arrangements for Re-Examination of NEET (UG) 2026

Berhampur,( 21/06/26):The Brahmapur Police District has made necessary security arrangements for the re-examination of NEET (UG) 2026 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 21.06.2026 in one shift from 2.00 PM to 5.15 PM at 11 examination centres in the district.
Candidates with disabilities have been provided extended time until 6.15 PM.
Adequate police force, including Sub-Inspectors posted as Team Leaders along with constables and Home Guards, has been deployed at each of the 11 examination centres. These personnel are responsible for security arrangements, maintenance of law and order, frisking of candidates, access control, and coordination with Centre Superintendents. A mock drill and security inspection were conducted at all centres on 20.06.2026. All deployed personnel reported for duty by 10.00 AM on the day of examination.
Armed police escort has been provided for the safe transportation of confidential examination materials from the designated custodian banks before the examination and for their return to the designated location under double-layer security by district police and CRPF.
Traffic management and parking arrangements have been made around all examination centres to ensure smooth and congestion-free movement of candidates, invigilators, and examination staff. Intensified mobile patrolling is being carried out in and around the centres from 20.06.2026 onwards.
Cyber surveillance and preventive intelligence measures were implemented to monitor and counter any attempts at unfair means, paper leak, or circulation of misleading content on social media platforms.
