AAP emerges as an alternative in Odisha’s political arena: President Nishikant

Rayagada, June 18: Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) has emerged as an alternative party of the people in Odisha, said State President Nishikant Mohapatra in a review meeting held in Rayagada. Mohapatra reviewed the ongoing membership campaign of AAP, the facets of strengthening the organization in the district and the preparations for the central leadership’s visit to the district in the next two weeks.
Party workers joined him at the Circuit House during the press conference. Mohapatra said that Aam Aadmi Party’s membership campaign is progressing at a rapid pace in the state. He said that this campaign is also going on vigorously in the three assembly constituencies of Rayagada district. Mohapatra also said that the party’s central leadership will visit Rayagada district in the next two weeks. The party is getting everyday stronger under the leadership of AAP National President Arvind Kejriwal. As the current government in Odisha completes two years, anarchy has increased in the state. Mohapatra said that when people are not able to trust other parties in the role of opposition, AAP has aggressively pushed the party as an alternative.
Mohapatra welcomed the newly joined party workers with party turbans and caps. State Secretary (Organization) and District President Janmejay Swain, District Legal Cell Advisor Guru Prasad Sahu, Tribal Front President T Sangana, District Vice President Jitendra Safi, Bismakatak Constituency President Ramesh Chandra Patra, Kashipur senior leaders Parikshit Naik, Sadhuram Naik, Rayagada Block Youth Vice President Sundar Kadraka, Rayagada Block Vice President Biju Kilaka, Pareya Kadraka, Santosh Paik, Hemant Khosla, Ajesh Bachili, Junesh Kaushalya, B. Jagadish Kumar and all the prominent party members were present in the press conference. Duront Khosola of Nakiti Panchayat of Rayagada Block and Atat Naik of Ward No. 11 of Rayagada town left the Congress party and joined AAP.
