Odisha Board ss Exam Results Likely in Early May

Cuttack,(02/04/2026): Students across Odisha won’t have to wait much longer as the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) is set to declare the annual Matric exam results in the first or second week of May, board president Srikant Tarai announced on Thursday.

The evaluation of answer scripts, which began on March 19, was initially expected to conclude by April 2. While papers from four districts have already been assessed, scripts from 26 districts are still being processed. Tarai confirmed that once all evaluations are received and formal procedures completed, results will be published by early May.

Officials said the evaluation exercise has been carried out smoothly and without discrepancies. Students will receive their certificates immediately after the results are announced.

Those dissatisfied with their performance will have the option to appear for supplementary examinations.

The announcement brings clarity to thousands of anxious students and parents awaiting the outcome of Odisha’s most crucial school‑level examination.
