Berhampur,30/12/25): Berhampur Police Ban DJ music, Alcohol after Zero Night.

This evening while Speaking to Odishabarta ,the  Superintendent of Police, Berhampur,Dr.Sarvana Vivek,M, has announced tight security arrangements for the “Zero Night” (New Year’s Eve) celebrations, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy for disturbances like drunk driving and hooliganism.

The primary message is to ensure a safe and peaceful celebration for the public. DJ Music sound systems is strictly prohibited after mid night  in Berhampur and other parts of Police district.

The police in Berhampur are enforcing strict regulations on public gatherings and noise levels to ensure law and order. 

Authorities will take strict action against any form of hooliganism, anti-social activities, and public disturbances. Mainly triple rider with alcohol drive and other nature of nuisances.

Police are instructed to be prompt and empathetic in upholding the rights and safety of vulnerable sections of society, especially women and children.
