Tight Security in Berhampur for Christmas, Zero Night Celebrations

 Berhampur ,(24/12/25):Zero Night celebration in Odisha is the local term for New Year’s Eve parties, typically held in hotels, clubs, and public spaces with DJs, live music, and gatherings to welcome the new year, family get-together at hotels .

 Administration restricted public places  gatherings with stricter rules on liquor and large crowds not to disturb the areas. Recent years experienced ongoing efforts to regulate illegal liquor sales and drug trafficking alongside these parties. 

 In this regard while speaking to a senior Police officer, he said soon a meeting to be held, with hotel and club owners who are preparing for Zero night celebrations, in presence of all Inspector-in-charge of City Police Stations.

Officer, adding a valid security  line  keeping in view last few months law and order situation in city all possible measures would be taken at all niche  points   so that people can be flexibly celebrate  the festival as well enjoy  without any disturbance.

Further, he assured to ensure smooth and peaceful Christmas and Zero Night celebrations in Berhampur Mahanagar, the Police will tighten security and put in place special Police team measures in the city.
