FIR AGAINST YOGANA SAHAYAKA & M.I. BY BENEFICIARY IN GOLAMUNDA

KALAHANDI: FIR has been lodged by a beneficiary in Golamunda Police Station against the marketing Officer of Golamunda Block and Yogana Sahayaka of Manjhari Gram Panchayat in kalahandi district regarding higher price taken for the PDS Kerosin oil.
As per the source the Yogana Sahayak of Manjhari GP under Golamunda Block has taken Rs.215/- from Khageswar Majhi, one PDS beneficiary of village Kanduldangari under Manjhari GP, for 5 liters of PDS K’Oil in this crucial pandemic situation.
Notably.during the lock down situation Odisha Govt has decided to supply the PDS commodities for coming three months . Two liters of PDS K.Oil to each Ration card holder in every months is supposed to be supplied at the cost of Rs.15/- per liter.
As alleged by the complainant the Yogana Sahayak has taken higher rate for the PDS K’Oil and as such the Marketing Inspector who is in charge of over all supervision is also equally responsible for this type of exploitation.
The central Govt. & State Govt is providing several schemes but could not reach to the grass route level due to obstacle by this type of corrupted officials.
The beneficiary requested on his FIR to enquire about the matter and to take necessary action against the defaulting authority for the interest of the PDS beneficiary. It is also alleged that at many places the PDS commodities are being sold on higher price. Hence the intellectuals demanded to take remarkable action against the defaulting authority.
