Associate of BJD Ex-MLA Surrenders in Advocate Pitabas Panda Murder

Berhampur: The investigation into the murder of senior advocate and BJP leader Pitabas Panda gained a significant boost on Thursday as absconding accused Sudarshan Jena surrendered before the Baidyanathpur Police Station in Berhampur.

Jena, known to be a close associate of BJD leader and ex-MLA Bikram Panda, is believed to alleged to have played a key role in the conspiracy to murder the advocate. His surrender increases the total number of individuals apprehended in connection with the high-profile case to fourteen.

While Jena is now in custody, two other key accused, Kurupati Bhuyan and Uma Bisoyi, remain on the run. Police are intensifying their efforts to trace and apprehend the remaining absconders as they continue to unravel the full extent of the conspiracy.
