Bali Yatra Returns from Nov 5 with New Attractions

Cuttack: Cuttack is all set to burst into colour, culture, and celebration in a never-before way this year as the historic Bali Yatra festival returns from November 5 to 12, 2025, along the scenic banks of the Mahanadi River.

The much-anticipated announcement came after a high-level preparatory meeting chaired by Cuttack District Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde.

This year’s edition brings a refreshing twist! For better crowd control and enhanced safety, all stalls will be set up exclusively on the lower ground near Gadagadia Ghat, expanding the fairgrounds from 34 to 60 acres. The upper ground will remain stall-free to ensure smooth footfall and emergency access.

Visitors can expect a cultural extravaganza, with performances running until 11 PM, an hour later than previous years. Two grand stages will host a dazzling lineup of celebrity performances.

Over 50 buses will be deployed for public convenience, ensuring easy access to this carnival of tradition.

With a spotlight on Odia language and literature, Bali Yatra 2025 promises to be a soulful celebration of Odisha’s glorious maritime history, vibrant arts, and community spirit. Mark your calendars, it’s going to be magical!
