NTPC Uttra Club celebrates Hariyali Teej Festival

Lucknow : Uttra Club, NTPC Northern Region Headquarters, celebrated the auspicious festival of Hariyali Teej with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy. The event was graced by Smt. Bipasa Deb, President ,Uttra Club, with the esteemed presence of Smt. Sangita Singha Ray, Vice President; along with office bearers & members of the club, creating an atmosphere of joy and festivity.

The celebration commenced with a traditional welcome, followed by a sapling plantation by the Chief Guest, symbolizing a commitment to promote greenery. A creative vegetable carving competition showcased the talent and imagination of club members, earning appreciation from senior members.The evening was further enriched with cultural performances by participants, adding colour and charm to the celebrations.

A major attraction was the much-awaited Teej contest, where titles were conferred upon Ms. Anjum Samdani as Teej Queen, Ms. Divya Tripathi as Teej Diva, Ms. Anjali Gupta as Teej Beautiful, Ms. Arti Nigam as Teej Sparkle & Ms. Kanchan Verma as Teej Elegant.

Smt. Deb appreciated the efforts of all members and volunteers, commending their dedication and creativity in making the event a grand success. She also congratulated the winners for their remarkable participation.
