Youth Critically Injured As Chilli Powder Blinding Precedes Brutal Attack in Ganjam
Berhampur: Aryan Behera, a local youth, has been seriously injured after a brutal assault involving chilli powder and sharp weapons near Medical square in Bhatakumarada of Ganjam district on Wednesday.
Unidentified miscreants first blinded Behera by throwing chilli powder into his eyes before launching a vicious attack with sharp blades.
The motive behind the shocking assault remains unclear. Behera, who sustained severe injuries, was initially taken to Bhatakumarada Hospital but later transferred to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur due to his worsening condition.Purushottampur police have launched an investigation and are trying to identify and apprehend the assailants.
