Ganjam: Odisha Vigilance seizes Rs 3 lakh from vehicle of Supply officer

Chhatrapur,(09/07/25):Odisha Vigilance seized Rs 3 lakh from the vehicle of the District Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare officer, Ganjam, Chhatrapur in Ganjam district of Odisha on Wednesday morning.

 A Berhampur Vigilance team seized the money while the officer was on his way to the office.The tainted Supply officer has been identified as Pusha Munda.As per reports, the Vigilance Department has seized Rs 3 lakh from the vehicle on the National Highway near Chhatrapur. The Berhampur Vigilance Team raided the vehicle while he was going from his home to office.

It is reported that the Vigilance Team had kept an eye on the movement of the officer for last 3 days.

The seized cash is in 6 bundles of Rs 500 each.Currently, the Vigilance Team has reached the officer’s rented house in Ashribad Apartment and is continuing the raid.
