SEC-144 IMPOSED IN GANJAM AROUND ALL QUARANTINE CENTRES,COLLECOTR

Ganjam,(Chatrapur): Vijay Amruta Kulange, the district Collector of Ganjam issued an order to impose section-144 at and around all quarantine centres in the district after a video of migrant returnees flouting quarantine norms surfaced.
Kulange directed all Superintendent of Police, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Executive Magistrates and IICs of police stations to keep a close watch on Temporary Medical Camps and Institutional Quarantine Centres.
The order read, No persons will be allowed to enter within 100 metres radius of COVID19 temporary medical camps/institutional quarantine centres in Ganjam district.
He further stated that, “Complaint will be lodged against the individual if any one found violating this order.”
Reportedly, a video of people visiting their kins that were quarantined by the government following their return from other states.
