Traffic Violation is Breach of Law.

Berhampur,(Manoj Kanta Dash):Traffic violators in Odisha may exhibit disruptive behaviour towards traffic staff due to a combination of factors, including a lack of respect for traffic rules, a disregard for authority, and potential intoxication.
In some cases, individuals may be under the influence of alcohol, leading to aggressive or confrontational attitudes. Furthermore, the high fines associated with traffic violations, as well as the perceived lack of fairness or inconsistency in enforcement, can also contribute to resentment and misbehaviour.
A traffic violation, also known as a moving violation, is a breach of traffic laws while operating a vehicle on public roads. These violations can result in fines, points on a driver’s license, or even license suspension depending on the severity and the specific law broken. In Odisha, for example, failing to pay traffic fines within three months can lead to license suspension.

We pointed out some vital points of our observation to the officer “two years back some competent officers including Inspector in charge, a master in smooth traffic management officer have been transferred due to General Election guideline. His cordial dealing with the public especially youth mass was quite good, he was quite genuine one senior political leader told us in his reaction of his transfer. Against his vacancy government posted another officer but after two week again the new officer disturbed to Mayurbhanj police district.
He also said with our limited staff steps were being taken to ease traffic congestion at major junctions during the peak hours in the city. However very soon more traffic SI,ASI and constables would be deployed to ensure smooth movement of the vehicles to ease the pressure on the people. he added.
