BERHAMPUR POLICE ARRESTED “ERRAGOLLA” CRIMINALS GROUP INVOLVE WITH SERIES OF CHAIN SNATCHING

BERHAMPUR:in a major breakthrough on the recent incident of gold chain snatching cases in Berhampur City, a special team was formed comprising SDPO Berhampur, Inspectors of Badabazar ,Gosaninuagaon,Town PS and BN Pur PS..
According to Prabhat Routray, ASP, Berhampur the team with the assistance of Aska Police have nabbed the “Erragolla” criminal gang of Aska who have committed series of chain snatching offences since last year and this year.
The all accused persons identified as A. Ganesh Das(25),A.Durga Das(26) and Narasimha Das of village Jhagadei and Chhatapadia, Aska have been arrested in connection with Badabazar P.S case u/s 394 IPC followed by recovery and seizure of cash of Rs.20,000/- and the used bikes of Bajaj Pulsar Motor Cycles.
The accused persons are involved in a series of cases all over Odisha and other states. The accused persons are being forwarded and they will be brought on police remand if required.
