Odisha State Book Fair 2024 begins with 400 stalls
Bhubaneswar : The 2024 Odisha State Book Fair officially opened yesterday at the Exhibition Ground in Bhubaneswar, marking its sixth edition.
The event, which will run until December 17, was inaugurated by Surama Padhy, the Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly. It features 400 stalls showcasing books from 200 publishers and booksellers.
The fair celebrates important themes, including the lives of Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab, Lord Buddha, Birsa Munda, and other freedom fighters.
Visitors will have the chance to explore a variety of books, attend literary debates, and participate in interactive pavilions. There is also a coffee corner where authors and readers can meet and discuss their works.
