Gajapati (Bhagabat Padhi) : On recent declared results of Odisha Civil Service Examination Gajapati district stimulated to get 8 jewels who qualified. Among them 4 are from tribal communities. Among those 8 qualified;Debabrata Gouda ranked 7th.He belongs to Jirango village of Rayagada block of Gajapati district. Adyasha Rout who is serving as Additional District Welfare Officer ranked 99th.Though she belongs to Puri district but serving at Gajapati Collectorate. Among others Bhodalu Rani ranked 336 belongs to Paralakhemundi, Singipuram Hari ranked 421 belongs to Bagusala of Gosani block,Kalinga Kumar Pujari ranked 548 belongs to Gadar village of Chelagada panchayat of RUdayagiri block,John Badabhuyan ranked 561 belongs to Regum village of Lailai panchayat of Rayagada block, Somnath Sabar ranked 569 belongs to Tumula of Gumma block & Samiranjan Bhuyan ranked 626 belongs to Ukarsing of Dombalo panchayat of Rayagada block.
Indeed Kalinga, John, Somnath & Samiranjan belong to ST community. That too their residence is interior part of Gajapati district. Despite all huddles they had serious preparation & qualified. For the first time Gajapati district seen a record of 8 qualified candidates of OCS.
