Odisha: Man Arrested for Defrauding Job Seekers by Posing as VK Pandian’s Brother-In-Law
Bhubaneswar: A man was arrested on Monday for allegedly impersonating the brother-in-law of VK Pandian to defraud job seekers.
The accused, identified as Ramesh Rout from Kendrapara district, was apprehended by the Mathili police following a complaint filed against him and two others.
The complainant accused the trio, including Rout and Sasmita Majhi, a BJD Zilla Parishad member from Mathili, of duping them of lakhs of rupees under the pretext of securing government jobs.
Police launched an investigation into the matter and nabbed Rout from Bhubaneswar. A manhunt is underway for Majhi and the third suspect.
