FIR Against Singers Human Sagar, Ruku Suna For Allegedly Distorting Jagannath Bhajan

Bhubaneswar: A Complaint has been filed against singers Human Sagar and Ruku Suna for allegedly hurting religious sentiments by mocking an Odia bhajan of Mahaprabhu Jagannath, on Monday at the Capital Police Station, Bhubaneswar.

The International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) lodged an FIR against the two singers as they distorted a revered Jagannath bhajan by Banikantha Nimai Charan Harichandan, performing it inappropriately.

The accusation stems from a video circulating on social media, where it is claimed that Human and Ruku ridiculed the Jagannath Bhajan in a recording studio. This act is seen as an insult to Hinduism and has led to widespread discontent.

IHRS Odisha’s president, Shibsundar Swain, has called for the police to take action against Human and Ruku for their conduct.
