Rayagada, (Badal Tah): Last Thursday an operation was conducted within the jurisdiction of Kalyansingpur Range based on actionable intelligence. Two individuals were apprehended during the operation and subsequently presented before the court. Alongside the arrests, authorities seized two elephant tusks(Elephas maximus). The investigation into this matter is currently ongoing, with further enquiries being actively pursued.
Following this, on last Friday, acting on credible information, another operation was launched in the Gunupur Range. Five individuals were apprehended and later presented before the court. As a result of this operation, authorities confiscated one leopard skin (Panthera pardus). lnvestigations into this incident are progressing with diligence.
Additionally, on last Saturday, an operation conducted in the Muniguda Range led to the arrest of six individuals who were presented before the court. During this operation, authorities confiscated one leopard skin (Panthera pardus). Further investigations are currently underway to uncover additional details regarding this incident.
