BJD Releases List Of Candidates For 5 Lok Sabha, 27 Assembly Seats In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Wednesday announced its latest slate of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha. This marks the party’s third list for Lok Sabha constituencies, featuring five candidates, and its second list for Assembly seats, comprising 27 candidates.

Under the leadership of Naveen Patnaik, the BJD previously released its first set of nominees for nine Lok Sabha seats and 72 Assembly seats on March 27. Simultaneously, six candidates were announced for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Odisha.

The upcoming polls, slated for May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1, will be conducted in four phases. Voters can anticipate the results, scheduled to be tabulated on June 4.
