International Women’s Day Observed
Paralakhemundi, (Odishabarta)- International Women’s Day observed By various organizations.Held at Utkal Hiteishini Samaj premises organized by “Akankhya” President Asalata Panigrahi presided & Dr. Gunanidhi Nayak Chief Development Officer cum Executive Officer of Gajapati Zilla Parishad graced as chief guest. Asviser Dr. Kalyani Mishra,JJ Board member Bhagyalaxmi Nayak,CM award teacher Swarnaprabha Pathi, Secretary of organization Mina Kumari Tahal shared as guests of honor.
Speakers extolled on role of women not only society but building nation.Their contributions too praiseworthy.Fortunately being a backward district at Gajapati sex ratio of female exceeds that of male, but lamented in only Kashinagar block female ratio is less than male.Still on Odisha context male higher than female on present status.So need to sensitize women where various schemes too laverage better recognitions & reduce gender disparities.

Held at U-Tech premises organized jointly by Pragati & Gajapati Zilla Surakhya Mancha; presided by President Kalpana Patnaik where CDMO Dr. Pradip Kumar Patra & Principal of Binodini Science College Manoj Kumar Patnaik graced as chief guest & chief speaker respectively.
Bichitrananda Bebarta, Secretary Tanuja Satpathy,Amod Kumar Bardhan,Loknath Mishra shared as guests of honor.Among others Bhagabat Padhi,Jasmin Sheikh & among students Sneha Behera & Chandini Sahu also spoke on the occasion.Speakers accoladed various activities done by the organization.Their role a creativity to empower through various programs through out year.On this occasion debate,painting,dance competitions organized. Winners got prizes by the guests. For the first time transgenders also shared their feelings & acknowledged their gratitude to district administration to reduce their disparities.Sabita Pandit welcomed the guests.Manasi Panda & Sarat Pradhan coordinated the program.
