MOCK DRILL ON DISASTER PREPAREDNESS BY IMFA

Rayagada, December 30: A scheduled full scale onsite emergency mock drill on identified credible hazards i.e., LDO fire was conducted at IMFA Therubali in pursuance to Rule-9(G) of the Chemical Accidents Emergency Planning Preparedness and Response Rule 1996 and subsequent to the requirement of 10 Action points of Directorate F & B Govt. of Odisha. At the outset Mr.Asish Kumar Roy, VP & EIC, Therubali and Factory Manager welcomed all distinguished delegates. Mr. Bijayendra Pradhan-Manager HSE addressed on plant process and facilities details available to combat the emergency situations. Dy.Director, Factory & Boiler, Rayagada Division Mr S.N Sethi, Local Police station officials, Local Fire Service officials and Mutual Aid Partners participated in the event. Sr Manager (HR, Mr Swarup Kumar Nayak, extended vote of thanks to all delegates for their presence and valuable solutions to enhance preparedness.
