Destitute Woman Rescued by Ekta,NGO

Gajapati,16/12/23:-At Birikote of Mohana block one destitute woman who deserted by her husband identified. Volunteers of Ekta organization rescued that woman from a family’s home. Counsellor of the organization Pyari Kujjur, member Rojalin Patnaik & Anita Nayak brought her to Mohana.

That rescued woman belongs to Jharanpur under Mohana police limits.

Few months back she had been lured by an youth who had illicit relationship with that woman. One Bhuyan Gamango had physical relationship & tortured her too.

So without any support she reached at Birikote & stayed with a family. Now that woman kept at Shrada Rehabilitation Home. Whether minor or major later will be identified, said ,CDPO Mohana.
