BJD starts pre-poll preparation in Ganjam
Bhubaneswar, Dec 15: The Ganjam Biju Janata Dal has started gearing up the preparation for the upcoming election.BJD Organizational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das held a meeting at Berhampur Station Road Circuit House on Tuesday in which all MLAs and district leaders were present. They have chalked out the party’s future strategy for the upcoming poll.
Working together in the organization, solving people’s problems, and spending the state government’s grants properly were the main agendas of discussion. It was also discussed that V.K Pandian, Chairman, 5T Nabin Odisha would visit Ganjam for two days on the 16th and 17th.
In Ganjam, the home district of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the ruling party BJD is too strong. Out of 13 assembly constituencies, 12 seats are in the hands of BJD. Only the Sankhemundi constituency is in the hands of the Congress while BJD has already started planning to take it away in the coming election. The concerned leaders have been given the responsibility in this direction.
District BJD President Dr.Ramesh Chandra Chyau Patnaik, Berhampur MLA Bikram Kumar Panda, Aska MLA Manjula Swain, Surada MLA Purnachandra Swain, Polsara MLA Srikanta Sahu, Khallikot MLA Suryamani Baidya, Kabi suryanagar MLA Latika Pradhan, Chhatrapur MLA Subash Behera, Sanakhemundi Former MLA Nandini Devi along with many party leaders were present in the meeting.
