Parala Maharaja’s 50th Death Anniversary Held

Paralakhemundi-50th death anniversary of late Parala Maharaja Srikrushna Chandra Gajapati organized by various organizations.At the statue & samadhi of late Maharaja floral tribute paid. ADM (Revenue)Birendra Kumar Das, District Culture Officer Archana Mangaraj,Purnachandra Mahapatra, Binod Chandra Jena, Bhagabat Padhi,Bichitrananda Bebarta paid their tribute to great icon of this soil. Later on at Utkal Hiteishini Samaj(UHS) premises a meeting organized jointly by district culture department & UHS. Presided by Bharat Bhushan Mahanty, Major Ramaraman Padhi graced as chief guest. Purnachandra Mahapatra as chief speaker;as guests of honor ADM(Revenue) Birendra Kumar Das, Binod Chandra Jena, District Culture Officer Archana Mangaraj, Member of Odisha Sahitya Academy Bichitrananda Bebarta graced on dias.Speakers highlighted on deemed contributions of late Maharaja to bring new Odisha state with his hard strive. Particularly to reinstate Odia culture & Odia speaking areas to garner in Odisha map. His tiresome efforts could be a successful goal to include Paralakhemundi & Jeypore in Odisha.10th Utkal Sammelani was a big platform to strengthen a roadmap for independence of Odisha.Welcome address given by Bhagabat Padhi, Artatrana Chaini invited the guests to dias,where Tripati Prasad Panda conveyed vote of thanks. Prof. Ramaraman Padhi & Mittu Mahapatra topper of class 10th in Srikakulam district of Andhrapradesh,an inhabitant of border town Pathapatnam.
Held at Srisailam conference hall organized by Dakhina Odisha Sahitya Sammelani(DOSS); presided by Sidheswar Mishra,where Sriranga Nayak & Saroj Kumar Panda graced as chief guest & chief speaker respectively.Prasant Mishra head of DOSS, Gouranga Nayak,Tanuja Satpathy joined as guests of honor. Among others Bhagabat Padhi, Sachidanand Samal & Lingraj Panigrahi spoke on the occasion. Speakers highlighted his contributions on various areas like education, irrigation & railway to bring recognition of Paralakhemundi in the annals of Odisha & India maps.Loknath Mishra conveyed vote of thanks.
