BERHAMPUR: In order to contain the spread of COVID-19, the Ganjam District Administration has taken many precautionary measures this evening.
Friday in a press meet at BeMC Conference hall Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange told to scribes with some major factor which is to be maintain strictly failing which strict action shall impose against the owners and operator.
He said in particular that all Hotels, Lodge, Resturants to be shut down till further order from the administration. Bus operators are allowed only 50% passengers of their total capacity, Auto ricshaw operators are not allowed to transport more than two passengers and the two all wheelers are not allowed second man behind the bike.
More than seven persons assembling In public place is legal offence.Incase it noticed police personnel may arrest them from spot.
However, officers those related to COVID-19 drive can hold their meeting in a close room with proper etiquette with all precaution to maintenance of basic services.
As social distancing must be adhered to in an effective way to minimize and contain the spread of COVID-19.
Among others Mr Chakravartysingh Rathore Commissioner BeMC, Mr Brijesh Rai,SP Ganjam Mr Pinak Mishra SP Berhampur, Sub Collector,Sindhe Duttatraya and CDMO and other line of officers were present.
