NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club supports underprivileged children for aiding education

Ranchi:Swayamsiddha Ladies Club (SLC), NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters, Ranchi under the leadership and guidance of Smt. Mahua Mazumder, President along with committee members visited Robinhood Army’s cluster, an organisation catering support for education of the underprivileged children in Amravati area, Ranchi.
Education for underprivileged children lacks basic resources such as textbooks and school supplies. This makes it difficult for children to learn effectively. Keeping in view of this, SLC aimed to bridge between underprivileged children and education by distribution of stationery items, textbooks to 100 such children with willingness to learn.
Senior Members & committee members of SLC also volunteered for spending some time by interacting and teaching the kids.On the occasion, Vice Presidents Smt. Sanchita Konar,Smt. Adilakshmi ,Committee Members ; Smt. Snigdharanee Majhi, Smt.Ramya , Smt.Mansa Verma, Smt.Reshma Behera Smt.Apoorva dwivedi & club members: Smt. Sapana Pareek & Smt.Sugandh were also present.
The noble initiative concluded with appreciation by the beneficiaries. SLC has been actively involved in reaching out to the underprivileged people by carrying out various CSR initiatives for the benefit of the needy and underprivileged.
