Maa Santoshi Mission Shakti of Gumma Honored State Award

Paralakhemundi:Maa Santoshi Mission Shakti Group,of Paikasahi of Gumma of Gumma panchayat of Gumma block of Gajapati district, has been awarded on state level for their incredible feat on various activities.Recently from W&CD Minister Basanti Hembram the group felicitated.Under the guidance of Mission Shakti,the group comprised 10 members. President & Secretary named Arundhati Paik & Sasmita Dalai respectively renovating the group. Major activities taken by the group like electricity meter reading,stitching of pre-school & formal school uniforms. Started with mushroom cultivation the group focussed their livelihoods to emerge shinning among members.Further support of Mission Shakti could elevate their above activities. They have taken 20 schools to supply uniform dresses of Gumma, Tarava & Kalakote panchayats. Similarly for pre-school they stitching dresses of anganwadi centres of Ukhura, Munising & Kujasing panchayat of Gumma block.For school dresses per pair they charge ₹200 & for pre-school ₹100.During covid-19 period they supplied 300 masks for needy people.For meter reading per house they get ₹500 & now revised to ₹800.Guided by Mission Shakti block Coordinator Rashmita Kumari Patnaik & Rajalaxmi Raika accountant group could stimulate their livelihood race. Collector Gajapati Lingraj Panda conveyed his compliments to group members for their glorious achievement.
