Panchayat Office Locked due to Excluded in Voters List

Paralakhemundi- At Mohana block in 22 panchayats expected winning candidates missed their names in voters list,rather their names in other wards. So on anger they locked 2 panchayat offices. At Dhanupanka village of 15th ward about 80 voters name excluded. Among them Sunita Mallick, Sarpanch candidate who could not file her nomination due to her name excluded in voters list.So also in 11,12,13,14 wards voters name too excluded. At ward no 4 of Khariguda of Mohana panchayat expected winning candidate Mini Nayak’s name too excluded. She returned hopelessly from block office. Similarly for Samiti member expected winning candidate Sulakhyana Beherdalai too missed her name in list. At Karachbadi panchayat under 6th ward villages eg, Ludupanka, Talimera, Raldipanka, Budring, Kandhaadava, Rajama, Halagadi about 400 such voters too missed their names in list. Daud Gamango samiti member candidate too excluded.In Khajuripada, Luduheri, Budhapanka villages about 220 voters name blanked from list. Likewise in 22 panchayats such discrepancies found despite reported before BDO but in vein. After sent to Collector by fax, immediately he imstructed to sort out the matter by mail to block. For long 3 hours those voters sat in front of block office. IIC Mohana sorted the matter & they dispersed. But on Wednesday those matter yet to be sorted out, so voters of Dhanupanka & Karchabadi panchayats, around more than 100 voters locked the panchayat office while Election Officer was inside office. For 4 hours they cordoned, meanwhile Tehsildar Kishore Chandra Das, Police officials assured to sort out their issue. Later on voters opened lock.
