Review on Health Department in Koraput

Koraput:A review meeting of the health department was held at the premises of the local district chief medical and public interest officer’s office.  CDMO Mr. Behera advised health officials and staff to pay special attention to vaccination and cochlear testing.  A total of 10 lakh 20,000 people in the district have been vaccinated against the first dose, which is 100 per cent the first dose, he said.  About 600,000 people have been vaccinated against the second dose.  Sixty percent of people are vaccinated against the second dose.  People have been advised to take tests as soon as possible when they are cold.  Plates are also available for dengue patients.  “It simply came to our notice then.  CDMO Mr. Behera said that in the coming days, special emphasis will be placed on coronary testing and vaccination.  During the review meeting, ADMO Dr.  Arun Kumar Padhi, ADPHO (Family Welfare) Dr.  Neelmadhab Shatapathi, ADPHO (Malaria) Dr.  Sushant Kumar Das, ADPHO (Tuberculosis) Dr.  All the health workers, including Prashant Kumar Samal, DPM of the health department, Shubhkant Gantayat, Shubhkant Gantayat, were present.

The Koraput district administration, on the other hand, is preparing for the outbreak of Omikran in neighboring Andhra Pradesh.  In the first and second waves, Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh created a major problem for the Feranta district.  More than 40 foreigners have come to the district in the past month.  Eight of them have not yet arrived, while 34 of the 40 have been tested.  The four were not tested for four days.  Preparations are underway for new variants in all districts, including the border areas, and the administration is on high alert, said District Chief Medical Officer Sribehera.
