World Physiotherapy Day Observed at Gajapati

Paralakhemundi:World Physiotherapy Day observed at Paralakhemundi at two different places.By CCD(Centre for Community Development)an NGO working for disability organized at “Samartha” Training Centre.Niranjan Behera President of Samartha presided on the program, where Secretary Santosh Kumar Maharana Fecilitated. Secretary of CCD AJagannath Raju graced as chief guest. Physiotherapist Arun Kumar Nayak & Sarojini presented some key notes related to physiotherapy. Incidentally through Samartha 30 mentally retarded persons got treatment on physiotherapy & miraculous development found among them too on last 2 years. Their parents lauded efforts by CCD & Samartha organization for their befeating contributions.
At Utkal Hiteishini Samaj on behalf of Life Style Physiotherapic Clinic & Rehabilitation Centre(LSPCRC) & Niyati organized at evening. Presided by pioneer of Niyati Bichitrananda Bebarta,among others as Chief Guest DSSO Kalyani Dash, Arun Kumar Nayak, Dr. Bandana Swain, Dr. Sisir Kumar Jena, DPriyanka graced as guests of honor. Among other speakers Debadutta Bebarta, Arupanjali Mahanty, Sasmita Sahu,Bishnupriya Mandal also shared their views. Speakers highlighted importance of no-medicines on any acupuncture & other diseases rather best medicines only through physiotherapy practices.DSSO also given inputs of various government schemes & support to such sector. Through power point addressed by Arun Kumar Nayak & sorted out quarries of participants. 2 patients Kusum Panda & Jayant Panda,who cured through physiotherapy shared their views. To sensitize participants a cultural program of odissi dance performed by artists to keep body fit. Saswati Bebarta, Arun Nayak, DPriyanka, Arupanjali Mahanty organized the program successful.
