9, Pithapur Gets Visited by Historians

Cuttack: 9, Pithapur in 1932 was the HQ of legendary revolutionary and martyr of India’s freedom struggle Shri. Bhagabati Charan Panigrahi. In 1972 this was the address for the then CM of Orissa Smt. Nandini Satpathy. Since year 2022 the said address servers as the HQ of SNSMT Chairman Shri. Suparno Satpathy. Today it was visited by Historians. Chief Historian of Freedom Struggle Museums, Govt. of India Prof. Kapil Kumar along with a team paid a visit at 9, Pithapur. Prof. Kumar at Shaheed Bhawan delivered a key note address on ‘Who Made India Free’.

9, Pithapur, now the Cuttack HUB of SNSMT – Smt. Nandini Satpathy Memorial Trust holds a very significant role in the History of India’s freedom. This place used to be the secret meeting spot of several revolutionaries which includes Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose , Sri Aurobindo, Bagha Jatin, Veer Baishnab Patnaik and many others.
