79th Martyr’s Day of Shahid Laxman Nayak is observed

Sunabeda: Date: 30/03/23: The 79th Martyr’s Day of Shahid Laxman Naik of Koraput soil has been celebrated by the Shahid Laxman Naik Pathagara in Semiliguda.Koraput MLA and District Planning Board Chairman Raghuram Padal attended the programme as Chief Guest while Principal of Sunabeda Degree Women’s college Usharani Das joined as the keynote speaker, Sunabeda Municipality Chairman Dr. Rajendra Patra, President of Senior Citizens Association Binay Chandra Patnaik, Om Prakash Mishra and Mamata Ray graced the occasion as guest of honour and offered rich tributes to the great freedom fighter Shahid Laxman Nayak. The programme was presided over by the President of the Pathagara Ajay Kumar Sahu.
Senior lecturer Dr. Chittaranjan Mishra, retired army officer Sarat Shadhangi, national awardee teacher Omprakash Mishra, social worker Mamata Ray, tribal artist Sasmita Nag, social worker Pitambar Kirsani, Karate champion Rudrans Samal and Akanksha Mohanty and Ghenu Devalpadiya were felicitated on the occasion. While Secretary of Pathagara, Sushant Patra delivered the welcome speech Vice President Dhanpati Iding proposed the vote of thanks.
