73rd NCC Raising Day celebrated in VS Vidyalaya, Sunabeda

Sunabeda: 29/11/2021: NCC wing ( Boys & Girls) of VS Vidyalaya, Sunabeda has celebrated 73rd NCC Raising Day. To mark the occasion a special programme has been organized in the school premises 28/11/2021.Commanding Officer of Air Force Liaison Establishment, Koraput , Group Captain J J Mhaiskar graced the occasion as Cheif Guest while Principal of the school & Convener of NCC unit Hemanta Kumar Seth presided over the meeting. Chief Guest and Principal conveyed their good wishes to the young cadets and motivated them with their inspiring speeches. Sgt Sam Salom Dongri, Sgt Ritwik Rish Raj and CPL Shanmugam were felicitated with mementos for their best performance during thier NCC tenure. 160 cadets of class 8th 9th have attended the programme and enthusiastically participated in Quiz & Elocution competition. The NCC cadets also show cased their artistic talents by performing Classical dance in the cultural programme organized during the function. ANO, Third officer Dr G Vinodkumar, CTO Arati Rani Sahu and Sandeep Patnaik Sr Physical Education Teacher were present.
