YOUTH STABBED TO DEATH FACT (!) – ACCUSE ARRESTED WITHIN 48 Hrs. ALSO FACT (!)

BERHAMPUR: In a tragic incident on Friday (23/10/20),a youth was allegedly stabbed to death following an altercation at Banthapalli village under Digapahandi police limits in Ganjam under Berhampur Police district. The youth Bachan Swain had a heated exchange of words and made argument with the challenger (The accused), following which they attacked Bachan with a sharp weapon and fled from the spot as an outcome Bachan Swain greet his Death (!).
Keeping in front such heinous attack police seriously starts their operation for quick solving the sensational murder in Digapahandi, Ganjam and police has able to crackdown the crime within 48 Hrs and arrested the accused person of the killing.
According to source from District Police HQ, Berhampur, The investigation of the case made so far revealed that, on 23.10.2020 night, the accused Kalia @ Susanta Bhuyan along with other villagers of Banthapalli paying cards till late night. In the next early morning i.e. 24.10.2020, again the accused Susant Bhuyan with villagers Titu Bhuyan, Peta Bisoyi and deceased Bachan Swain started playing cards in the house of Titu Bhuyan, 4/5 houses apart to the house of Banchan Swain.
As Kalia Bhuyan won about 5000/- in the game, the deceased Bachan Swain started abusing him and his brother Kanguru Bhuyan in filthy and obscene language and threatening him with dire consequences to kill him in life.
The deceased Bachan Swain also assaulted Kalia Bhuyan by means of a beer bottle causing injuries on his person. Being revengeful and determined to finish Bachan Swain, Kalia @ Susanta Bhuyan left for his house, brought a sharp cutting iron knife and unfolded the entire incident and assault to him to his brother Kanguru Bhuyan who was cleansing his shop by then. Then the accused Susanta Bhuyan@ Kalia left for the house of Titu Bhuyan with knife and accused Kanguru Bhuyan also followed him holding a stick. No sooner did Bachan Swain came out from the house of Titu Bhuyan seeing Kalia, than Kalia@ Susanta Bhuyan repeatedly stabbed on the belly of Bachan Swain by means of the knife. The accused Kanguru Bhuyan gave repeated blows on the head of Bachan Swain by means of stick intending to kill him life.
More touchingly, in a bloodied condition, Bachan ran away and fell down in a nearby drain. After few minutes, Bachan again tried to flee from the spot. But Kalia@ Susanta Bhuyan again stabbed repeatedly on his belly and Kanguru Bhuyan assaulted by means of stick. Being unconscious, Bachan Swain fell on the road.
The accused persons left from the spot with the respective weapons of offence. Bachan Swain was immediately shifted to MKCG, MCH, and Berhampur for treatment but he was received brought dead by the treating doctor.
The involvement of other FIR named accused persons namely Bhajaram Bhuyan, Panchu Bhuyan and Sankar Bhuyan is under verification.
Monday around 3 PM Police team lead by SDPO, Chikiti, Surendranath Murmu and IIC, Digapahndi Basant Kumar Sethy with his police staff able to nab the duo with recovery of Blood stained knife. In connection police registered a case No. 250 U/s. 302/294/506/34 IPC.
