When bullying behaviour involves unwanted sexual comments, suggestions, advances, or threats to another person, it’s called sexual harassment or sexual bullying.
Sexual harassment doesn’t just happen to girls. Boys can harass girls, but girls also can harass guys, guys may harass other guys, Sexual harassment isn’t limited to people of the same age, either. Adults sometimes sexually harass young people But most of the time, when sexual harassment happens to Minor, it’s being done by people in the same age group.
In Berhampur city on Friday a Complainant booked by a Mother a resident of Harsha Vihar, 1st Lane, Berhampur under Bada Bazar Police limit,Ganjam reported in writing alleging that, since the year 2018 one Deepak Kumar Badatiya (30) S/o Bijaya Kumar Badatiya of Old Berhampur, Pandara Sahi, intentionally developed acquaintance in coming to her house.
Taking the advantage of minor innocence of her daughter, he seduced her minor daughter (VICTIM 16 years) and committed forcible sexual intercourse repeatedly since September 2019 by promising her with false assurance of marriage. she alleged.
The accused Deepak Kumar Badtiya sexually exploited her daughter by making a Sexual Video and uploaded the same in his Face Book account at Home Page and blackmailed her in the last two years for Sex.
Finally, when a marriage proposal of the victim was solemnised with another matrimonial proposal, the accused uploaded the pre-recorded Sex Video in his Face Book and the proposal was broken.She reported with tear.
The video went into viral in all the electronic social media. Basing on the written report of the complainant, Bada Bazar PS case No-110/2021 U/s 376(2)(n)/376(3)/354-C/506 IPC R/W sec 6 POCSO Act Sec -66(E)/67(A)/67(B) of IT Act is registered.
IIC,Prashant Bhupati said,from our intorigation the accuse admitted that,he is working as a contractual Lineman at Electric Fuse call Office, Lathi Panchayat in Berhampur.
The accused has been detained at police station. The Investigation is underway. He will be produced before the court on Saturday.
