Youth arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a minor girl

Berhampur: A 30 year youth was arrested on Wednesday by Nimakhandi Police for allegedly in connection of sexual assault to a 6yrs minor girl(!).
The accuse was identified as Laba @ Naba Swain (30) S/o-Narashingh Swain of Vill-Hugulapata , Bisoisahi, PS-Nimakhandi, Dist-Ganjam .
On Monday at 09.15 P.M Police came to front instantly soon received the written report from one lady under Nimakhandi PS area regarding sexual assault of a minor girl. Regarding sexual assault of her minor daughter.
In connection, Police acted on such heinous incident by a man and registered a case at Nimakhandi police station u/s-363/376AB/377/294/506/34 IPC/r/w/Sec-04 POCSO Act and investigated into.
Basis on the strength of the report of the lady under Nimakhandi PS area regarding sexual assault on her minor daughter, quickly police moved for rescue of the minor girl.
Police said, on 28.06.2023 at about 8.30 P.M he Complainant along her minor daughter aged about 6 years had been to her Tala Sahi village to attained a feast.
After sometimes, when the lady failed and didn’t find her daughter. she searched and called her by name of her daughter.Soon she listened the crying of her daughter on the rooftop of Laba Swain, Lady reached on spot and found the above noted accused undressed her daughter and committed aggravated sexual assault for which her daughter was crying and rescued her daughter with much difficulty.
Being asked her daughter disclosed that Naba took her to the roof top showing Mobile Phone and then necked her by removing her dress and committed sexual abuse for which she received pain.
The accused had committed aggravated form of sexual act to the minor victim girl. While the complainant, asked Laba @ Naba Swain, he threatened her if she disclosed the fact before Police or any where he will kill her and her daughter (!).
The above noted accused person has been arrested and will be forwarded today.
