Sunday in a press meet at Hotel Mayuree Conference hall the organising committee declare and presented the three days long programme.
Organising committee chairman Er.Uma Shankar Panigrahy reviewed today different events and activities that have been planned on the occasion of Ithe World Tourism Day scheduled on September 27.28th and 29th,2023. And it would be under the banner of “Paryatan Bharat”.
The meeting chaired by Mr.Rabi Narayan Behera,DIPRO,Ganjam while Mr Anil Kumar Patro,Secretaray,Narayan Mahankuda,Gopal Patnaik,Dr.Miir Tripathy were on stage.
Attending media question, Mr.Anil Patro bluntly announced that to celebrate this the three days function, finance is not a crunch If required, I shall take the responsibility”.
Besides, there will be a special attraction on behalf of the Berhampur Press Club scribes will stage a drama “Asta Surjya ra Swapna” script written and directed by Rabi Narayan Behera.
Senior Journalist Samir Kumar Acharya said we have taken the decision after Berhampur the same Drama by the media persons would be staged very soon at Bhubaneswar and other part of the country.
Another senior scribe Mr.Ashok Bramha appeal to the organising committe to give priority other lucrative tourism places which needs to be identify with joint meeting with Ganjam district administration and Tourism department.
When foreign tourist to are Gopalpur-On-Sea are more and more by that time the Hotels are few but today it’s just when Hotel Industries are booming at Gopalpur the foreign tourist figures are very few (!).Surprised.
Attending to Mr.Bramha Mr.Uma Shankar Panigrahi Chairman of the Committee also President of Ganjam District Hotel Association said what Mr.Bramha pointed out genuinely agreed and said, soon Hotel Association will take up the matter with the appropriate authority.
To celebrate the event and the theme the other attractions Drama “Chha Mana aatha Guntha’by Fakir Mohan Senapati,”Sama Samaika Sahitya ra Swara open house discussion,.Apart of on the base of Lord Jagganath Sanskruti Odia drama,”Mani Mante” script written by Ms.DeepikaDas and directed by Satyabrata Das.
In third day a National level workshop organised by Berhampur University topic on “Paryatan Ebam Sabuja Binijoga” ( Tourusm and green Utilisation).
Addressing to scribe Mr.Mahankuda said, we have also invited many speakers from out of the state and many eminent speaker have given their consent to join the work shop.
On last day Dr.Tripathy also added that our organising committee have decided for talent search for there will be no entry fees is required, our aim is only to encourage the hidden talents of our state. Finally 35 documentary film shows exhibited.
Apart from this, different competitions like painting, debate, photography and quiz will also be held on the occasion. The winners of different competitions will be awarded.
This would be followed by a cultural function organised by many Cultural Organisation.At last Treasurer Kailash Panigrahy given the vote of thanks.
