Paralakhemundi:World Forest Day observed at RSETI hall.Collector Gajapati Anupam Saha,PD DRDA Mahesh Kumar Choudhry,ACFs Gouri Prasad Rath and Bhaskar Rao graced as Chief Guest,Guest of Honor respectively.
Presided by DFO Sangramkesari Behra the guests lauded commendable contributions of VSS members to sustain environment protection. Further being backward region they stimulated to preserve forest from fire which is a concern in Odisha.56% of forest zone & major forest conservation like Mahendragiri,Lakhari too replicate as guard in eastern ghat areas of Gajapati district.Still need to protect flora & fauna & biosphere guests cautioned for podu cultivations to protect ozone & global warming. On this occasion various outstanding VSS members given citation certificates and Punyapitha of Aurovindo Integral Education of Parsamba too got a cheque of Rs.10000 for their environment protection.
