Woman arrested in Berhampur for Murder (!).

Berhampur,15/10/2022: A woman was arrested in connection of her illicit relationship of Village Sitalapalii, under Gopalpur police limits in Odisha’s Berhampur police district.
According to police basis on the written report of Complaint Krushna Chandra Nayak (40) S/o Late Duryodhana Nayak of village Sitalapalli PS Goplapur Dist Ganjam,
Soon after the information,Srikant Khamari,IIC,Gopalpur with his team guide by SS Mohapatra,SDPO (Sadar) rush to spot.
The complainant alleged that Friday at about 10.00 PM one Mamini Nayak who is the neighbor of his middle brother Pradip Kumar Nayak was quarreling with him. Pradip Kumar Nayak had physical relation with her since last 8 years for which he used to visit her house regularly. Saturday i.e. on 15.10.2022 at 6.00 AM the complainant found him dead. He along with his family members suspects a foul play by Mamini Nayak over the death of his brother Pradip Kumar Nayak.
Notably,Pradip Kumar Nayak was a mason and had married to one P.Jamuna Reddy of his village out of love affairs during the year 2010 and she blessed a son namely Subham Nayak who is now 12 years of age.
After 2 years of his marriage his wife died. Mamini Nayak is a widow, who is the neighbour of Pradip Nayak and who happened to be his sister-in-law(Bhauja), whose husband has died before 8 years. Since then Pradip Kumar Nayak and Mamini Nayak were in illicit relation and he was staying in her house. Pradip Nayak used to quarrel with Mamini Nayak blaming her for physical relation with other persons. Before 8/10 days he was staying separately in his house. Yesterday i.e. on 14.10.2022 at about 10.00 PM Pradip Kumar Nayak went to the house of Mamini Nayak and started quarrelling with her, and blamed her for illicit relation with other persons of his village. On this Mamini Nayak and Pradip Nayak had a tussle with each other. Mamini Nayak pressed his neck and throttled him by which Pradip Nayak became subconscious. She then shifted him in his subconscious stage to his house and she lay down him on the ground as a result of which Pradip Kumar Nayak died. In the morning the family members found him death.
Police have seized Wearing apparels of deceased and accused , Blood stained earth and sample earth and Biological sample collection (Nail Clipping & sample blood).
Mamini Nayak (accuse) sent to the Court and the case is still open for further investigation.
