WITH GREAT PRIDE AND FERVOR, NTPC TALCHER KANIHA CELEBRATES 46TH RAISING DAY OF NTPC LIMITED

TALCHER:NTPC Talcher Kaniha celebrated the 46th Raising Day of NTPC Limited today. Amidst the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, digital celebrations marked the Raising Day ceremony to ensure social distancing. On the occasion, Chief General Manager, Shri Sudip Nag unfurled the NTPC flag at the Administrative Building of the Station, which was followed by NTPC Geet. Shri N.S Rao, GM (O&M), Shri Navin Bagai, GM (SSC-C&M), Shri Rajiv Khanna, GM (MMG) along with other GMs, departmental HODs and employees joined the flag hoisting ceremony.
To effectively ensure minimal gathering, Shri Nag delivered his speech via the digital medium of Microsoft Teams which was joined by employees of various departments. In his address, Shri Nag congratulated the Power Engineers for working round the clock during the lockdown phase earlier this year to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the nation. Shri Nag further highlighted the various operational milestone achievements of the Station and conveyed his gratitude to the Corona Warriors for their continuous support and team work.
NTPC has been the flag bearer for the power sector in the country in the last 45 years. From its current power producing capacity of 62 GW, NTPC plans to become a 130 GW company by the year 2032.
