GAJAPATI,(Mohana):Just like morning headlines ganja transportations become a day-to-day affairs at RUdayagiri and Mohana blocks.
Under the instructions of SP Gajapati Tapan Kumar Patnaik guidance SDPO RUdayagiri at Kottama-Padigudi road with their intelligence input information Adava PS caught red-handed 3 persons with a bolero(OD 07 6865), where 575.300 kgs of ganja seized and the estimated cost around 12 lakhs and the raid being conducted )in presence of Tehsildar Mohana Kalyani Sanghamitra Devi.
Miscreants are identified as Subal Paricha(27) and Purna Bisoyi(37) both of Dekapanka under Adava PS & Susant Paricha(30) of NJhalarsing under RUdayagiri PS arrested.In connection Adava PS registered a case no 80/20 against the accused person.
Many intellectual, Senior citizens, social organisation sought only one point where are the roots of ganja procurement and they need to be identified (?)who are the persons are involved (?) more ever the who is that KINGPIN to be establish (?) Or the peddlers are blessed by politicians or Excise Dept and having the nexus (?).
“The apprehension cannot be rule out”. other side police conducting raid…raid….raid last 3-4 months (!). Who are those official giving cover to miscreants (?) also a vital point.
However the Excise department need to more active and plan how to reduce ganja stream transport and to be traced those kingpins are behind the screen.
Locals sought this is the high time need to destroy of all grey areas where massive scale of ganja procured hobnobbing easy task for transportation.
No doubt Covid-19 task a huge jinx and the police is working hard but once a special squad deployed on tracing root areas of ganja then it will be easier to wipe-out such massive streaming of transportation in both the blocks Mohona and Adava.
