Welcome statement by Prime Minister in crowning Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as First Prime Minister of Azad Hind Fauz – Must be honoured like First Prime Minister
Delhi:It refers to media reports about Prime Minister Narender Modi on 08.02.2021 in Rajya Sabha while replying to Motion of Thanks on Presidential address describing Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as First Prime Minister of Azad Hind Fauz. Perhaps constitutional binding made him add the phrase of-Azad-Hind-Fauz with the designation First Prime Minister.
Nation now needs to give due honour to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose who along with his Azad Hind Fauz was indeed instrumental in making British rulers fleeing India after giving independence, rather than giving credit to others for allegedly getting independence through non-violent means. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose who unfurled national flag for the first time with salute given by his Azad Hind Fauz at Moirang in Manipur on 14.04.1944 exactly in the manner it is to be done by a Prime Minister of the nation.
It is time that Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose should be given due honour which is deserved by First Prime Minister of any nation. His birthday should be celebrated like 2nd October though without any holiday even on 2nd October. Currency notes should have his photos though along with other great martyrs like Lala Lajpatrai, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Bhagatsingh, Ashfaqulla Khan etc doing away with monopoly of an individual. Central Vista project in New Delhi should include erecting of a statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in empty canopy of India Gate which earlier housed statue of erstwhile British ruler King George V.
