Wanted interstate drug trafficker Munsi Held

BhubaneswarLIn a joint operation, a team of STF & Malkanagiri district Police apprehended one hardcore absconding interstate drug trafficker namely Munsi Prasad Singh S/o. Babulal Singh of Awadhnagar PO: Bishunpur PS. Yadopur Dist. Gopalganja (BIHAR) wanted in Mathili PS case No. 43/2021 U/s. 20(b)(ii)(c)/27/29 NDPS Act, 1985.
In this case, on 12.03.2021, Mathili Police while conducting patrolling seized contraband Ganja around 884 Kg, Two Nos Mahindra Bolero Pick UP vehicle and other incriminating materials from the possession of accused persons Somesh Hantal & others. During interrogation the accused persons confessed that as per direction of accused Munsi Prasad Singh of Bihar they were transporting contraband ganja. The apprehended accused person was one of the masterminds in the instant case as well as a noted inter-state drug trafficker (Ganja). He was absconding since occurrence of the case.
