Visit of Honble’ Governor of Odisha to BSF Camp at Koraput

Koraput: Tuesday, Honble’ Governor of Odisha, Professor Ganeshi Lal visited BSF Headquarters at Korauput. On arrival he was welcomed by Shri Satish Chandra Budakoti, IG BSF, Odisha Frontier along with Shri Madan Lal, DIG BSF Koraput and officials of civil administration.

Governor laid wreath at the Martyr’s Memorial and paid homage to the Martyrs who made supreme sacrifice of their lives for the Nation in the line of duty. He was given Guard of Honour by BSF in the Camp. The IG BSF briefed the Governor about the deployement of BSF and current LWE situation in the region and various programmes being organised by BSF to win hearts and minds of the people. Hon’ble Governor interacted with the Officials and appreciated the commitment and sacrifices made by the BSF in fight against LWE to bring normalcy and tranquillity  in the region.
