Villagers Damaged Liquor Shop at Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur:Santospur villagers of Kosagumuda block of Nabarangpur district angered on going on liquor shop.Despite several attempts their demand to close the shop failed. Later on more than 100 villagers of Santospur turned out to main road & torched the name plate of liquor shop & gheraoed that shop owner. Matter reached to police but they failed to compromise with public. Later on IIC Kosagumuda, Natabar Nanda with his staff intervened the matter & rescued the shop keeper. He also sorted out the matter with public where villagers returned. But they are still at anger to take further action if that shop not closed villagers retorted & even dared to block main road.
