Villagers Caught Black Marketed of PDS

Paralakhemundi-Regular news on black marketing of PDS on forlone.Even those dealers too heaved on such rackets.Kerocene, rice are minimum requirements for those PDS card holders. But due to irregularities & lack of monitoring this happened on broad day light.

At Manikapur panchayat of Mohana block, peon Bijay Rout was selling 35 litres of kerocene & transferred to elsewhere. Number 1 ward member Kishore Chandra Nayak with hundreds of villagers gathered at panchayat office. Kerocene kept at one Lokanath Paik & rice sold to one person of Mallicksahi. Meanwhile Supply Inspector Subhendu Panigrahi & Sub Collector Dilip Kumar Maharana have been informed. Now enquiry started with those commodities seized.Action against the peon Bijay will be taken. Bijay told that surplus of PDS commodities he was selling by the instruction of PEO. Immediate action to be taken against those irregularities, says villagers.
