Vigilance Raids at Properties of Angul Dy Director Of Mines to Unearth Disproportionate Assets
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials took up simultaneous searches at eight locations linked to Dharanidhar Nayak, Deputy Director of Mines (DDM) at Talcher in Odisha’s Angul district on Monday on allegations of amassing disproportionate assets.
According to a press release of the Odisha Vigilance, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by 10 DSPs, 16 Inspectors, seven SI/ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Angul.
The searches are on at the following places in Bhubaneswar, Keonjhar and Angul:
*Flat No. 205, 2nd floor of Surekha Orchid Sisuvihar at Patia in Bhubaneswar.
*One double-storied market complex consisting of 15 shops (9 shops on the ground floor and 6 shops on the 1st floor) of the building located at Badinali Sinkulabahal in Jagmohanpur Telkoi in Keonjhar.
*One under construction double-storied building adjacent to market complex at Badinali Sinkulabahal in Jagmohanpur in Telkoi, Keonjhar.
*One single-storied building at Badinali Sinkulabahal, Jagmohanpur, Telkoi, Keonjhar.
*The paternal house of Nayak at village Chhamunda, Telkoi, Keonjhar.
*Nayak’s temporary residence at Talcher in Angul.
*Office room of Nayak at O/o-Deputy Director Mining, Talcher in Angul.
*Nayak’s relative’s house at village Purumunda, Ghatagaon in Keonjhar.
The searches are still underway.
