Valediction ceremony of Weeklong Environment Awareness at IMFA Therubali

Rayagada, 13 June: IMFA observed World Environment Day valedictory function focusing on theme of environmental awareness and sustainability. The event featured a range of activities aimed at educating and engaging employees, residents and students in eco-friendly practices.
The celebration was graced by Chief Guest Ashok Ku. Bhoi, Regional Officer, SPCB Rayagada, along with R.K. Sahu, Deputy Environment Engineer and A.K. Roy, Vice President & Engineer-in-Chief(EIC), IMFA Ltd. Their presence and inspiring messages set a strong tone for the environmental initiatives undertaken throughout the week. Interactive sessions and talks were organized on pollution control, waste management and conservation efforts. A spirited rally involving employees and families was conducted to spread awareness among the local community. A mass tree-planting activity was conducted to reinforce the importance of green cover and ecological balance.
The guests and local netizens commended IMFA’s commitment to sustainable practices and emphasized the role of individual and collective action in protecting the environment. The week concluded on a positive note, with participants pledging to continue eco-friendly practices beyond the celebration, ensuring a greener and healthier future for all.
